Posts: 26 Aug 16 07 11:33 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hi everyone. I am 38 weeks pregnant and I had my doctor's appt today. When I went to the doctor last week, he said that my cervix was still hard. I went to the doctor this week and he told me that my cervix is now soft. Does this mean that I could have the baby at any time or do I still have time? I have been walking at the local county fair for the past two nights, taking it easy, but we probably walked a mile all together. We've sat down, but would that have something to do with my cervix getting soft? My boyfriend and I wanted to go again tonight, but we didn't know if it would be safe to walk around like we have been, since my cervix is soft. Could anyone tell us what to do?

Posts: 64354 Aug 16 07 1:33 PM Queen Mom Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	u could have the baby soon! your cervix is nice and ripe now u never know when labor will start, when ur water will break, when u will loose ur plug......i would say GO, have a good time....heck i walked around for 3 weeks dialated to 3cm with a soft cervix! u just dont know! go....enjoy! Posts: 2858 Aug 17 07 7:50 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	You could go any minute or stay like that for weeks! LOL There's no telling! You're 38 wks, though, so don't worry about going early. It's completely safe for you to deliver any time now. I was so sick of being preg by 38 wks I was doing anything I could think of to try to induce labour! I was 3 cm dialated for WEEKS before I went into labour at just over 40 wks. ~Jamie
